Meet the Dogs!
Rupert
11 Year Old ChihuahuaRupert is our tiny senior gentleman and self-appointed supervisor of the house. He was adopted from Tucson Cold Wet Noses in 2021. At around 11 years old, he’s mastered the art of balancing naps, snack requests, and keeping a close eye on all incoming guests.
While Rupert prefers calm companionship over chaos, he’s especially wonderful with smaller dogs and more sensitive personalities who need a quieter buddy around. He’s proof that you don’t have to be the biggest dog in the house to run the place.
Favorite activities include sunbathing, blanket burrowing, and politely judging everyone from wherever he’s lying.
Vida
8 Year Old Rottweiler MixVida is the calm, grounded energy of the house and takes her role as emotional support manager very seriously. While some dogs arrive ready to party, Vida is often the one quietly reminding everyone that naps, personal space, and lounging in the sun are equally important activities.
She has a soft, steady personality that tends to help visiting dogs settle in quickly, especially those who may feel unsure in a new environment. Vida is not interested in unnecessary drama and prefers a peaceful household where everyone follows the rules (or at least pretends to).
Her favorite things include comfy beds, observing the household like a tiny security guard, and politely inserting herself into any situation involving snacks.
